completely amazing!
i had a blast in SF on saturday with my friend allie attending probably one of the best festivals i've ever been too!!

roughly 15 stages pumping all sorts of electronic music from Trance/NRG to Pop Dance to Breakbeat! (i mostly stayed at the Tantric stage with my fellow trance fans).
Crazy people with crazy costumes, as well as some awesome DJs!

great day. i got there a little early to go see my friend Britt who's now going to SF State! we went shopping...and i got this really cool b&w plaid shirt at H&M (where else?). i then went to our first Youth Council of the year...meet some pretty cool kids and saw some oldies there too ;)

yeah, nothin much other than that, but i had a good time for sure

i found this site...i actually can't remember how. but i did.
it's called LOOKBOOK.nu

it's basically a collection of people that post outfits that they've created or designed (strictly on themselves). it's really cool to see other people's personal style as well as their comments on others' and what they like. you must apply to get in (although you don't have to submit anything) and once you get in, you can upload pictures of youself. as a newbe, you pictures are reviewed and if accepted by 10 overseers (and liked) it's published on the actual website for the entire site to see! you can get "hyped" which just lets others know what you like and there's options of commenting and following your favorite people!
you can still view the site without being a member, you just can't comment :/

but i got in! and i think this will be lots of fun! and very inspiring...

first day of school. my tactic of "it won't happen if you don't talk about it" failed miserably. and the inevitable is going to happen. so i'll embrace it. a little.
other than that i have my outfit picked out and i get to sleep in an extra hours (thanks to a free first period!) hahaha

updates? let's see...no new photoshoots, i went shopping in SF last week and have been working a lot at my parents new store downtown (come by and check itt!)

my friend chandler and i took the train down to SanFrancisco yesterday! it was lots of fun, we went shopping, eating, laughing and all sorts of good things lol
i bought a really vivid orange button-up shirt (complete with épulés and sleeve details) and a hot black skinny tie!! we hit all sorts of stores; H&M, Forever21, UrbanOutfitters, Anthropologie (for her) and Diesel!
we ate a very european lunch and continued on our fabulous day

then we took the train home (thus the pictures)

Flashback to Forbidden Love

random yet sucessful shoot

i was called upon a friend of whitney's sister to arrive at whitney's house to do a shoot today (i was asked about 11.30p the night before)
but he never showed up...i'm still not sure what went on...some miscommunication

anyways!
whitney and i decided to do a shoot by ourselves anyways
so we cooked up Flashback to Forbidden Love

a story of forbidden love in the 1930's
it's cute and pretty proud of it

the beginning

so last saturday
i went to Sac to an open house for the Academy of Art in SanFrancisco (yes i was in Sac for a school in SF)
but i think it went really well
it's a great program and seems like it's very challenging and rigerous but definitely rewarding in the end. i brought my portfolio for some review by alumni and other staff and it was recieved quite nicely. they said that i had skills that many people don't even have when they go to the school and skills that people really struggle with throughout the year(s).
the only thing that's kinda a killer is that it's pretty expensive
but they have scholorships and grant opprotunities as well as Financial Aid
so that's really good!
this may be it
but i'll keep looking too!

let's do this #3: Chanel Shoot

so the next day after my Rock shoot
i was summoned by another good friend of mine Britt[any] to do a shoot for her portfolio that she'll be sending off to Vogue!
she wanted to show ranger in her work, so for this shoot she decided to do an ad campaign. for Chanel. YESSSS

so i wake up early [again] and meet her downtown where we elegantly (cause we where both dressed extreamly nicely) strolled through Davis downtown in search of a good allyway. we first went to the ally behind Peet's and FiveFigs, but the lighting at 8:30 wasn't to good. i suggested that we'd try the ally behind Woodstock and we went to check it out. see for yourself:

let's do this#2: Ode to Classic Rock

the first photoshoot that i did was with one of my besties Whitney. she's prettymuch amazing and had a very intriguing idea for this shoot. she's very into the old Rock&Roll songs of yore and decided to set up a backdrop where her, myself, her sister and her sister's friend would all pose and hold up signs with lyrics of songs painted on them. i had a lot of fun doing these and they look amazing! (there's much much more, but i'm going to put on the ones i like best lol)
